Miss Mandi

My name is Miss Mandi and I am the Director and Co-Owner of Stepping Stones Early Learning Center. I always knew I wanted to work with children, when I was little I loved playing school and of course being the teacher! I spent many summers in junior high and high school babysitting for friends and family as well as my own brother and sister. I first started working in daycare back in 1994 at The Little Express in Turner, where I was the Assistant Director. In August of 1996 my husband and I had the opportunity to buy that daycare and we decided to take a chance, because honestly, I couldn’t imagine doing anything other than working with children. Over the years we have grown and in August of 2004 we purchased the building and land where we are currently located. I attended Leavitt Area High School and attended The University of Southern Maine for Early Childhood and later transferred to Western Governors University for Elementary Education. I was born and raised in Turner Maine and moved to Greene in 1996 when Todd and I got married and built our first home. We have 3 daughters, Kierstin, Kaitlyn, and Kayla, 1 grandson, Halsey who is 18 months, and another grandson on the way. We also have a dog, Copenhagen, a cat named Magnum. In my free time I enjoy spending time with Todd, our girls, and our little man Halsey, traveling, reading, antique shopping, watching movies.
